"The New Genocide"

Inspired by the story of Trayvon Martin, "The New Genocide," explores both the pressures and horrors that are associated with being Black (particularly a Black male) in the United States.

"The New Genocide" is a student short film that I directed, co-filmed and edited. My cinematography and sound crew included Dominique Cruz, Brianne Neira, and Nora Bode. This piece was performed by Travis Basora to poetry by Kiersten White.
